Query: Cora Roberts WILLIAMS. I am searching for any information I may find. Mr step fathers family has long heard that they are some part Indian in their heritige but both of the granparents passed away leaving their children to make their way in life on their own. We have heard that GG grandmother Cora Catherine ROBERTS born Dec 31 1878 in Indiana and daughter of John ROBERTS and an Eliza WEISAUL was disowned by her family for marrying John WILLIAMS in abt 1894 in Minnesota. The couple lived in Wright County and then in Wilken Counties in Minnesota. One of Cora’s parents was said to be sometype of Indian Chief or head. We are not entirely sure she was from Indiana since the info changed maytimes per each census. She passed in 1918 in Breckenridge Minnesota from the Spanish Flu outbreak. Any info of hints are greatly appreciated.
