My daughter-in-law is looking for information about the following: Manerva Polly Gilbert Lewis (b 1812) was said to have been a full-blood Cherokee, although she was unwilling to reveal this publlicly due to the times of oppression of Native Americans. Her daughter was Isabelle Blue Gilbert (b 1838). We are looking for a relative of these two who has a Cherokee indian roll number, so my daughter-in-law can prove what oral histories have already claimed, and that is that Manerva and Isabelle were Cherokee. I would like to see this done for my daughter-in-law so that her health care can be done through our local Native American hospital facilities. Note: I can’t get the regions parameter setting to include more than one state, so here are the states that this would directly involve, being that we have found links to them or relatives: Tennessee, North Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma

Yes, my great great great great grandmother is Minervy/Minerva Polly. I have much of her family tree figured out, and I am also seeking information relating to this Woman, and Isabelle Blue Gilbert, her daughter, my great grandmother also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have dont a lot of genealogy work, my name is Craig Infanger, my email address is red_rider_125@hotmail.com. I would be happy to compensate someone for their time and expertise in identifying Minervy/isabelle’s native american ancestral roots. Thanks for all who take the time and spend the energy to be involved in such endeavors, what a blessing it is to FINALLY connect the roots and understand our heritage.
