I have been told my ancestry includes First Nation. Since my family is from the Arkansas – Oklahoma area, I have turned to you. The family name is Brummett with ties to Williams and Kirby. I am the biological daughter of William Lee Brummett, who is the son of William Ishumel (sp?) Brummett. Sometimes they list him as William Ismael Brummett. My bone structure looks similar to Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce but that’s neither here nor there. Help?

Truthfully, I don’t know much as far as that goes. I can give you the birth and death dates for William Lee and William Ishumel Brummett (father and son) but I don’t know all the rest.
William Lee Brummett July 27, 1933-May 2, 1999 son
William Ishumel Brummett Nov. 23, 1901-June 16, 1973 father
married to Zu,la A Taylor Sept. 10, 1904- Oct. 29, 1936 mother
