I have been told that my great grandmother is Cherokee Indian. Bessie Olds born 1890 Missouri. She married Buckland Darrell an Irish immigrant around 1904. Had a son 1905 named Donovan Darrell. They relocated to Washington state.

Hi there. I am not sure if I am a connection, but my grandfather was Donovan Darrell and he did live in Washington state. I was always told that his dad’s name was Buck Darrell and his mom was Bessie Olds. He was estranged from his parents at an early eage. We were always told that he was Irish/Scottish/English. I have not heard mention of Indian. Although, I have a cousin who is attimate that we have Indian.
I know this post was a long time ago, but thought I would reach out…just on case.
