I am looking for my great grandfather David “Dave” Mathis who was from Alabama. He had 2 families. 1in Smith County Mississippi (where he met my great grandmother Stella Ainsworth and had my grandfather James Albert Ainsworth with her) and the other in Alabama. Dave was a Cherokee.
