Joe Coker was the infamous Cherokee polygamist son of Buck Coker he had 2 or 3 Wives all cherokee he had a bunch of kids. One of his daughters Mary Ann Coker Married a Robert (Bob) Emmet Trimble son of Robert and Elizabeth Trimble My 3rd great Uncle & Aunt Nephew of William Trimble. William Trimble is my 3rd Great Grandfather. He allegedly married a Coker daughter as well possibly Rebecca Coker? Do Elizabeth and Robert Trimble and orWilliam Trimble have any Cherokee heritage?? The Cokers are pretty well documented its the Trimble line out of Kentucky or Tennessee that gets me. They clearly took great lengths to disguise their heritage its hard to locate.
