Query: I’m seeking any info available for Sudie COX. I don’t have a date of birth for her but she died in 1972 and was 75-85 years old at that time. She was Cherokee. She and her younger sister, Lucinda COX, were adopted at an early age. I do not know where or when either of them were born nor do I know who their birth parents were. Sudie was my fathers’ mother. I’ve been trying for years to find out where they came from and who their people were. I would be grateful for any infomation though I realize the chances are slim.

Query: I’m trying to find out any information I can on my great grandmother. The name that I have for her (going by her marriage license to my great grandfather) is Mary PRYOR. She married my Great grandfather John Edward MILLICAN on July 15, 1904 in Rhea county Tennessee. They had 3 children together (one of which is my grandpa) then Mary went on to marry William Mckinley KING on March 16, 1918. I’ve been told Mary was full blooded Cherokee and was even on the trail of tears. I haven’t been able to find out any more about her. I have found copies or her marriage certificates and mention or her on a census report but, nothing before she married my Great grandfather John. How can I find out if she is Cherokee and when she was born and to whom are her Parents?
