I did a check on my Cherokee heritage. I’m related to some chief who gave his daughter to a James “Jim” West then was made to walk the trail of tears. Can anyone help me with the name of the chief and the rest of the history.

According to family stories this is apparently the ggg-grandmother who is supposedly full-blood Cherokee.
