Ah-Le-Cie (1745-1825) took the Christian name of Sarah Elizabeth when she married Lewis Taylor. They lived in Rattlesnake Cove at the head of East Seabolt Creek, next to Lake Winfield Scott National Recreation Area, Chattahoochee/ Oconee National Forest, In Suches, Union County Georgia. I have been told her parents and maternal grandparents are buried on a ridge overlooking a tributary of East Seabolt Creek in the traditional Cherokee rock mounds.
Ah-Le-Cie would be my great-great-great-great-great grandmother. Her daughter was Sybil “Sibbley” Taylor (1772-1842). She married Robert W. Lankford (1752-1831).
I would be very interested in learning more about Ah-Le-Cie, her parents, and their family.

I am so sorry. I have 2 separate bloodlines that can be linked back to the Cherokee Nation and I crossed the data on the 2 as I was inputting the information.
I have resubmitted this information, PLEASE ignore this post.
