Allah Cecille Abzil

February 15, 2016 by rita abrams 1 Comment

I am seeking information about my great-great-great grandmother, Allah Cecille Abzil, who was believed to be a Cherokee. She was born in Virginia in 1773 and died in Madison County Kentucky in 1800. She married Benjamin Franklin Van Winkle who later married Hester Little Flower, also a Cherokee. Allah’s children were Rachel, Allah, Nancy, James, Sarah and John. (Elizabeth Ross/Nar Nee Asbill is my 6th ggm, but I can’t make any sense out of the Amtoy line.) Thanks for any help. Rita

seems we have the same family and same problem finding Hester Little Flower. Still hunting and still looking. Although a woman a few years ago was speaking with my mother and Hester came into the conversation. She said she was rather famous in New Jersey but didn’t recall how. Haven’t found that either. But whatever I find, I’ll post back here for you as well. Maybe one day we will find her.
