Baskett and Taylor Cherokee Connection

March 26, 2020 by jlynn047 Leave a Comment

Looking for information on Sarah “Sally” Baskett. I have read that she was full Cherokee and may have lived in Kentucky at one point but I am not sure. She married James Harris Nov. 19,1835 and had a daughter Ellender Harris (1837-1910).
I would also like any information on a: Unisy, Nicey or Eunice who married Absolom Taylor. She was possibly born in 1724 and may have passed Sep. 8, 1824? They had a daughter Nisian “Nina” Taylor who married Richard Henry Holland on Nov. 30, 1775 in Rowan Co. N.C.
I believe both Sarah “Sallie” Baskett and Unisy Taylor may have been full Cherokee but I am not sure. Any info will be greatly appreciated!
