Looking for the family tree for Candis Janie Carter. She was my great grandmother. She died in Tulsa in the 1970’s.

You will be happy to hear that I have the Dawes Roll book which is Cherokee Roots Vol 2 Western Cherokee Rolls if you want the books yourself. Her roll number is 12705 on the Dawes Roll.
Trace yourself back to her by birth or death certificates (you need to mail them in with application) and then fill out the forms at http://www.cherokee.org and in about a year your cards will come in the mail!
