I am looking for information on my Cherokee lineage from my father’s side of the family. My father was Paskel Watts, his mother, Dovie Fondren, her mother Alice Mae Whitehead and her mother Zarabiah A Whitehead born 1843 and her mother Temperence Bunge. They were from Tennessee. My father told me Zarabiah whitehead was full Cherokee but I’m having trouble finding anyone with the name Whitehead anywhere.
