Cherokee Susan Turner 1755-1814 Virginia

I am looking for proof of Cherokee pedigree for Susan Turner 1755-1814, married William Terry 1752-1814. John Self Terry was their son and others have noted that he registered his children as Cherokee Indian. I don’t know where their information came from. Children’s names: Sarah Ann Terry 1798-1870, William S. Terry 1799-1843, Amassa Terry 1800-1844, Stephen S. Terry 1801-1838, George S. Terry 1803-1860, Turner Terry 1806-1839, Fanny Terry 1812, Anna Terry Kendall 1813-1896. Virginia and Arkansas are the states where these ancestors lived.
