I’ve found that I’m descended from John DOLAN 1723-1802 of Stokes County, NC, who married Sarah WATTS. Was she a daughter of John Watts, the Cherokee trader? Was she half Indian? I’m interested in any and all information about John DOLAN and Sarah WATTS. My 3rd great-grandmother, whose name at marriage is listed as Charity Dowlin, is possibly their daughter. Charity married Thomas Armon in Surry County, NC, in 1790.
