I am trying to see if I have any relatives that were Cherokee. I have been told that I have Cherokee in me. My mother’s name is Martha Gail Shirley and my father’s name is James Elton Monday. His grandparent’s last name was Watkins. My mother’s mother’s name was Marie Shirley.
