My granny told me that my Great Great Great grandmother’s actual name was Emily Burton. My granny told me that Emily Burton and her mother Angeline came out of the mountains and met William Dodson who soon married Angeline and Emily’s name was changed to Dodson.
Emily later married James Sullivan.
I have found that Angeline’s maiden name was Godbehere (I have seen several different spellings).
My question is, is this the same Angeline that goes back to Nancy Ward?
