Trying to finding family ancestry, seems as thou some things have been altered for whatever reason. Family is from Ideal, Oglethorpe, Montezuma, Macon, Georgia. Was told my great grandmother Essie Ford gilbert Leggett is 50% cherokee, and that either her father Enoch Ford or mother Mattie Hill was 100% cherokee indian. Know there are many subdivisons and tribal names, need help!
