My 3rd great grandmother was Elizabeth Gibson, a Cherokee lady from District 96, South Carolina. I do not have any information about her family and am hoping someone could lead me to finding it. I have only the following information:
b. 1 Jan 1797, District 96, SC
m. James Pleasants Bolding 30 Apr 1818 Pendleton, SC
d. 14 Dec 1870 Chickasaw County, MS
In the 1850 US Franklin County Alabama Census, Elizabeth is 53 years of age living with her husband and family. Also listed with them is “John Gibson” age 60.
I would appreciate any help someone might give me.
