Hood

I’m interested in learning about the Cherokee side of my family. I’ve found very limited information. My great grandfather was Jesse O Jinkens. He was born in 1904 (not sure where) and lived in Fairview, OK. His mother was Julia C Jinkens (Hood). I think she was born in Tennessee in 1870 and died in 1952. She was married to George B Jinkens. I think he was born in 1870 in West Virginia and died in Oklahoma in 1935. I’m told that Julia’s father, whose last name would be Hood, was full blooded Cherokee. I haven’t been able to find anymore information. I appreciate anything that anyone can find.
