The Blackfoot represent a confederacy of related tribes traditionally living in the Northern Plains, particularly along along the Canada-US border. One band, known as the Blackfeet, is now located in Montana. There is no other tribe withe the moniker “Blackfoot” living in the US, There is no Blackfoot tribe in the state of Oklahoma, nor did they ever have any historic connection with this area.
