Jane Haney

October 20, 2016 by kathysummers 2 Comments

My great grandfather Jefferson Mansfield, father Norman Mansfield, married Janey Haney, Cherokee in North Carolina
in the mid 1800’s. Yet it is recorded in family history in Warren County, Tennessee but I can’t find out anything about her. I do have a picture of her with a feathered headband. Also Hiram Yellow Creek Canaster but can’t find his father or mother also Holoate born in South Carolina called Amanda Judy, father a indian trader, also Jane Redmon her daughter.

I am doing family history research for a friend who is the 3rd great-grand-daughter of Norman Mansfield & Janey HANEY. I would be more than willing to share with you research we’ve done. Is it Janey Haney that you have a picture of in feathered headband. Would definitely like to see that. Who is Hiram Yellow Creek Canaster? Hiram seems to be a common family name in that family tree.
