John Ross born September 20th 1878 in Arkansas married Ivy Pearl Hise born August 1884 Arkansas. They had a daughter Velma Mae Ross born 1904 Arkansas. She married Jesse Fallis Powell who was born 1896 Cravens OK. There son one of many children is Everett F Powell born 1926 Hartshorn Oklahoma. He married Beatrice Elizabeth Connolly 1932? Minnesota?. They had several children. One named Ricky F Powell born 1953 Washington. He married Pamela Fagerlie born 1960 Washington. They had 5 children. I am one of them. My family was in Oklahoma and Arkansas that were Ross. I know that John Ross is buried in Hartshorne Oklahoma. I was always told he was Scottish Irish and Cherokee. John’s parents are Henry Ross born in Ireland and Francis or Francisca P Birch/Burch born in Alabama or NC. I am also on familysearch and Facebook. If you would like to get a hold of me.
