Katie Catherine Boyd

I come to a dead end when it comes to searching for my great grandmother Katie Catherine Boyd Fowler. She was born in Tennessee. I’m not sure what town but near the Georgia. The older folks in my family have since passed on and I remember them talking about her being Native American. Some one in the family had a picture of her with her Shawl/blanket wrap(not sure what it is called.) but I do not remember who it was that had the picture. I have searched and searched for years trying to find where and what tribe of Cherokees my grandmother was from. I know her birth was around the trail of tears and a lot of mixed marriages took place. I would be so grateful for any information to her family…Thank you in advance
