I am looking for information on Levina Eddings (Nichols) who would be my great, great, great, great grandmother. It has been told that she was full blooded Cherokee. Some have spelling as Lavina, born in 1786 in North Carolina. She was married to John Eddings and the mother of Elizabeth Nesbitt (Nasbitt), Mary America Dye, James Brown Eddings, Sr. and nine others. Died in 1855 in Kentucky. Elizabeth Eddings is my three times great grandmother. My auntie remembers my stories about my great, great grandmother LaVina Vidue Nasbitt. Any information would be much appreicated.
