I am looking for someone that may have known my grandmother and possible relatives of mine. My fathers name was Marion Francis Todd. His mother (Cherokee) name was Bessie Mae Kean. She married Jesse Barton Todd who was 28 at the time and she was 17. My father was born in Leeds Iowa June 23, 1920. Bessie died at the age of 26 from TB. She and my grandfather are buried in Clinton Mo. I recently found out that her mothers name was Betty Nickloes from Benton County, Mo. Her fathers name was John Kean. No other information about him could be found.If anyone has heard anything about any of these people please contact me. I need to know something about the lost side of my family.

I am looking for information for my grandmother Rolla Acres who married Virgil Penberthy. My mother was Galena Penberthy McKinnon daughter of Rolla and Virgil Penberthy. I noticed a post on this site of someone when I began looking who is a granddaughter, but I do not know how to access her post. I know my grandmother was a school teacher. She passed away before I was born in 1948. I also know Rolla and Virgil had 3 other chidren besides my mother…Jim, Frankie,and Wilma…I believe my mother Galena was the eldest.
