I’m looking for any info on my great grandmother who was a Cherokee. She had a son named William McKinley Watkins. We are not sure if she married Marion Bonaparte Watkins.

Does this look like your grandfather’s info:

    William McKinley Watkins
    1897–1969
Birth 4 NOV 1897 • Tennessee, United States
Death NOV 1969 • Hot Springs National Park, Garland, Arkansas, USA

I show that his wife is:
    Sarah Ann Prince
    1867–1955
Birth 26 SEPTEMBER 1867 • Durham, Cherokee County, North Carolina, USA or TN
Death 28 AUG 1955 • Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee, USA

    and that she married:

Reverend William Bravel Watkins – He is my 3 great uncle.
    1866–1920
Birth 15 SEP 1866 • Ducktown, Polk, Tennessee, United States
Death 28 NOV 1920 • Ocoee, Polk, Tennessee, USA

This information is based on my mother’s research. Her name is Jacki Lynn McAffrey. Her father is William E. Watkins, Sr. son of John Williams Watkins, son of Isaac G. Watkins, son of Berrick Watkins.
