I’m looking for more information on the daughter of John Rogers and potentially an Elizabeth. Also possibly the daughter of Jennie Dew, daughter of Elizabeth.
The listed names I’ve been able to find are Martha Allen and Martha Ann Rogers. The family has history in Tennessee, North Carolina, and later Oklahoma. I’m fairly certain the Martha we are trying to identify passed away either in NC or GA. She might be the same Martha Rogers who married a Chisolm, but I have not found any official documents linking her to both last names.
She had a son named William Carpenter, who lists his mother as Marthy Rogers in his will in Macon County, NC.
Would be so good to officially know the exact Martha we are searching for. Thank you so much for any leads!
