I am searching for records of a Mary Jane Morris. Born July 2, 1808 in Wake North Carolina. She married a John Anderson Nutt III also born in Wake North Carolina. I am hoping to see if she has Cherokee heritage. From the picture I have she definitely looks like she could be native american.
