I’m interested in finding more information on her as well. According to Ancestry.com, she is my great x 6 grandmother. It says she was married to John Henry Banks (1753-1804) and that Mourning Dove was born in 1760 and died in 1840. My great x 5 grandfather was their alleged son Andrew Banks (1797-1857), who lived in Yancey NC. I’m originally from Ohio, but I live in the Charlotte NC area now so it’d be great to get any more information on her and where she lived.
