I believe I am related to John and Morning Dove. Nathaniel, son of John and Morning Dove, is the father to Rebecca Banks, she is the mother of William Jasper Banks and he is the father of Charles Jabel Banks. Charles and Ella Banks are my great grandparents. My grandfather was George Alexander Banks. My mother is Phyllis Banks Evans Conklin

I’m interested in finding more information on her as well. According to Ancestry.com, she is my great x 6 grandmother. My great x 5 grandfather is Andrew Ezekiel Banks, who is allegedly their son but it doesn’t look like his name is on your list. I’m originally from Ohio, but I live in the Charlotte NC area now so it’d be great to get any more information on her and where she lived. I’d love to know any more info about the roadhouse she ran too, because go to the Asheville area fairly frequently!

I’m also curious to know more about John’s first wife, as I haven’t been able to find any information on her or her death anywhere. How did you find out about her?
