Nancy Redfern or Chief BlackHawk

I’ve traced my lineage to Nancy Redfern (1730-1795) who married Jacob Austin Davis. I’ve found documentation that her father was Chief BlackHawk of Toquo Indian Village, Overhill Settlement, TN and her mother was Abbee Redfern. I’ve also found that Chief BlackHawk’s parents to be First to Kill and Creat Corntassel. Since this pre-dates the rolls, is there anywhere that I may be able to further validate this information? Any information would be appreciated!
