NEED HELP! I am adopted and have little information.

I lived with my birth mother and grandmother for the first 5 years of my life and have many memories of how my grandmother looked like the Indian women from the movies! I always knew I was Cherokee but just didn’t have names or specifics to prove it. My birth mother as well as a cousin have given me a few names to start with. My great grandmother was said to be full blooded and what little info I have on her is as follows…. Ida Green born around 1900 in Cleveland County NC. She married Ellis Hall and had at least one child Luella?-( not sure of name or spelling) who married George Ivey Laney and had quite a few children including my mother Sandra Maureen Laney Moody.
Being adopted you always feel like part of you is missing and are constantly searching for answers. Any assistance would be appreciated more than you will ever know. Maybe I can slowly fill in the huge gaping hole in my soul. THANK YOU! ~♡~
