My family was from TN,Alabama, Arkansas TX, OK and into Washington state. My grandfather Everett F Powell was born in Hartshorn Oklahoma in 1926 to Jesse F Powell born 1896 in Cravens OK. Mother Velma Mae Ross born 1904 in Arkansas. Jesse Powell parents from Wrath TX Jacob Pinkney Powell Cherokee nation and wife Amanda Greer. Velma Ross her parents are John Ross and Pearl Ivy Heis. Johns father is also John Ross. I know I am Cherokee. I also am Scottish and possibly Sioux. Please help find my family. Jesse, Velma and Everett all died in Washington.
