Help! My Cherokee ancestors name is Sally Happcuh (1685-1782) and I can’t find a record of parents but I know she was born in North Carolina and supposedly from the deer clan. Can anyone find more info?

This woman was married to a Thomas Whitfield Jr. She does not appear to have any connection to the Cherokee people. What source do you have that states this, or attempts to give a clan affiliation?
The Cherokee language does not have a P (or related B) sound. The morpheme construction is completely wrong here.
What is known is that this Sally and Thomas were associated with eastern VA colonial settlements, and they also named their daughter Keren-happuch. This is a Hebrew Biblical name, not Native American.
I think someone got to a far branch in a very long tree, came to a distant ancestor that was a bit mysterious (with no confirmed parentage) and saw this strange name and assumed it was Native. Now, it is being added to and embellished online.
