I was wondering how to find information about my 3rd Great Grandma? Evalin/Eva Miller parents unknown married a David Hider Aug 26,1889 Roane, Tennessee. By 1900 she was a widow living in Roane,Tn & took in boarders.They had two children Mary & Gracey.We are of Cherokee descent.

So I felt I had to to reply to this as my great grandmother’s name was Evalina (went by Eva) Miller, I have both mother and fathers names as well as a bit of information about her (parents, first husband, etc). She was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. I am not sure if these two women are the same but the name is not a common one. If any of this sounds like it might be the same woman please let me know, I can definitely share the info I have with you about her.
Hi! I’m sorry it’s been awhile and I was unable to come on here. Yes I don’t know anything about my family beyond a name. A Eva Miller Hyder was my 3rd great grandma and had a daughter Mary and was told we are Cherokee. My family is from around Roane,London,Knoxville,Jamestown Tennessee areas. That’s all I know. Oh also her grave is in Batavia,Ohio and lists her birth as 1853 Tennessee and death 1952 Ohio.
