William brown father of Susan brown who was the father of my 3x great grandma Massey Delaney brown/mooreland all of Indian mound Tennessee they’re all listed as native Americans on they’re death certificates yet I can’t find them on any rolls at all but they misspelled Massey Delaney browns name a hundred different times if anybody can help I’d appreciate it greatly I’m looking for info on William Brown

You may already have this information (or it may not be quite what you are looking for but in 2012 I was doing some research the Clarksville, TN Public Library, looking through Stewart county marriage and death/birth records and came across a page that may interest you. Since it was a physical document, I took pictures of it which I am happy to share with you (but unsure how best to send them). The page contains information about the whole Mooreland family with a couple pictures (one of which is Delaney’s tombstone). The title of the article was ‘the Cemetery Scene’.
I came across it while looking for information on my 3xgreat grandmother, a Cherokee woman named Efelda Tabitha Jane Dennis/Mooreland (who is also buried in Mooreland Cemetery).
