My maternal grandfather, Froney Mack Brackett, has Nathan Kirkland and Lillie (y) Berry Faw Kirkland in our family tree on Ancestry.com. From What I am reading, Nathan’s father was white but his mom was Cherokee. Nathan was also known as Chief Cheesequire Tse Squa Tse Old Bird Kirkland. I am wondering how to confirm this information.
