I am looking for information of Maude Mae Youngblood, my great-great-grandmother. She refused to ever speak of “her people”, for reasons we do not know. She was either full or half, and there is dispute as to whether she was Choctaw or Chicasaw. She was born in Ravia Oklahoma on 12/13/1889 to (we think) Lemuel and Sarah Ellen (Bowen) Youngblood. She did say that she was somehow a cousin to Quanah Parker. She came to Texas in the 1925 or ’26. She married W.C. Ryan, but I do not know the year. We do have a picture of her. I would be so appreciative if anyone might be willing to share information with my family, so we can know more about where we came from! Thank you!

Hi! My Grandfather Isom Youngblood was the brother of Maudie May Youngblood Ryan. Maudie and her husband lived in Levelland Texas. I know, I went to school with one of the Ryan’s grandchildren, I think his name was Bobby. There is a woman, who if she is still living named Bobbie Shrum Ryan. She was married to one of the Ryan boys. I will help with what I have, but my original info is hard to access.

I had completely forgotten that I had asked here, and was so excited to see this response! Bobby, the Ryan you went to school, was my grandfather! I am specifically looking for information on Isom and Maudie’s parents. We seem to be at a dead end. My email is emilyolson71@gmail.com. I would be so grateful!
